China has long dominated the table tennis scene, sweeping 28 of a possible 32 gold medals at the Olympics. Yet, given the significance of the sport to other fields, such as politics, it is unsurprising China has invested so much into its success: it has become an integral part of their culture. With their dedicated training camps and regimented coaching, their dominance shows no sign of weakening.
